    Smart Valve Positioner Feature Introduction:

1. The intelligent valve positioner system primarily consists of a control unit, an electrical-to-pneumatic (I/P) conversion unit, and a valve-position feedback detection unit. The positioner and the actuator form a closed-loop feedback system. The input unit receives a 4–20 mA current signal from the controller. The valve-position feedback signal, serving as the controlled variable, is compared with the setpoint in the microprocessor; the resulting deviation triggers the main control board to output pulses of varying duration, thereby regulating the inflation and deflation rates and the actuation characteristics of the actuator, thus controlling the operation of the control valve and precisely positioning it.

2. Today, with the rapid advancement of computer, electronic, communication, and intelligent predictive diagnostic technologies, the demand for smart valve positioners is steadily increasing. These devices are required to support concurrent network communication and power supply over a single cable, while their core pneumatic control components must operate at ultra-low power consumption to ensure the safe and reliable operation of networked bus-based control systems.

3. Intelligent valve positioners feature high reliability, high control accuracy, easy functional expansion, and communication capabilities, fully meeting the requirements of networked, integrated, and intelligent development in industrial control systems. They fundamentally address the shortcomings of traditional mechanical valve positioners, such as high power loss, slow response, susceptibility to overheating, mechanical wear, and electromagnetic interference. These intelligent positioners employ pneumatic pilot technology to achieve internal air-path control: a small valve regulates the flow of compressed air, which in turn actuates a larger valve to control the flow of the process medium. This hierarchical control approach is realized through the use of piezoelectric valves.
