A delegation of leaders and technical experts from China National Offshore Oil Corporation visited Wuhan Tuoyou Intelligent Co., Ltd.

On October 24, a delegation of leaders and technical experts from China National Offshore Oil Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CNOOC) visited Wuhan Tuoyou Intelligent Co., Ltd. to conduct a research visit and technical exchange on the application of TORLEO intelligent valve positioners in offshore operating platforms.
During the exchange, Wuhan Tuoyou presented its R&D achievements and market applications of intelligent valve positioners to CNOOC leaders and experts. CNOOC provided detailed briefings on the operating conditions at offshore platforms, emphasizing that reliability is paramount. In response, Wuhan Tuoyou proposed a customized solution for the positioner, taking into account the harsh environmental challenges faced by offshore operation platforms under the CNOOC project—namely, outdoor seawater and tidal-salt mist corrosion as well as humid compressed air—and demonstrated remote HART communication for real-time valve-position feedback. CNOOC leaders and experts commended Tuoyou’s unwavering commitment to developing nozzle–flapper technology-based positioners; praised the innovative exterior and structural design of the newly iterated stainless-steel explosion-proof product developed for the Panyu project; and acknowledged the technical optimization measures implemented by the Tuoyou team to address the unique operating conditions on offshore platforms.

Both parties stated that they will continue to deepen their collaboration going forward, thereby accelerating the domestic substitution of smart valve positioners and positioning “Made in China” as a leader and driver of high-end equipment manufacturing in China’s petroleum industry.
