On August 10, 2017, a delegation of four—Director Cai, Engineer Yang, Engineer Wang, and Engineer Yi—from Hubei Xinye Steel Co., Ltd.—visited, under the guidance of Mr. Chen, Director of Marketing and Sales, to inspect on-site the performance of TORLEO smart valve positioners at WISCO’s No. 1 Steelmaking Plant, including applications in the secondary cooling water system, the oxygen plant, the second cold-rolling mill, and the thermal power station, where these devices have replaced American FISHER positioners. The delegation expressed keen interest in the TORLEO positioner’s fault-lockout (three-failure safe-position) function, which is achieved without the need for an additional power-loss comparator or solenoid valve. Following discussions with the heads of various WISCO plants, they unanimously agreed that this technology surpasses leading imported brands, significantly reducing users’ capital investment as well as operation and maintenance costs. Subsequently, Director Cai and his team proceeded to the company’s Production Department, where they conducted a meticulous examination of every stage of the TORLEO smart valve positioner’s manufacturing process. They were highly satisfied with the product quality and, during a subsequent symposium, offered constructive and valuable suggestions.
